Got a brand new computer setup, quad core athlon 2 2.6ghz, 2gb ddr3, ati hd5770 1gb dx11. Time to play all those fancy games and create brand new 3d work.
Also, there seems to be something wrong with my blog editor, It has trouble escaping certain strings, So its time to get working on that.
Been feeling kinda sick for the past few days, It really sucks! But atleast I get more time to design stuff!
Well, its that time of the year where I usually get bored of my layout and re-do everything. Except I will not be changing this one at the end of the year, instead I will be working on the site over time, Improving the backend and graphics.
Most of this website is static HTML right now, except for the blog (duh!), which I developed from scratch. This blog system features its own administration panel where I can post, edit, and delete blog entries through a WYSIWYG editor (FCKeditor). I can delete comments posted on blog entries, and some of you may be concerned about the privacy of this script, well... it only logs your IP into a database which I can only see, and the script to extract the comments selects every table except the IP so don't worry.
I created a much more simpler MySQL class for this project because I wanted to simplify the backend, I also created a XSS filter for the comments system. I have yet to fully develop this blog, but there are very few things left. The next major update will allow visitors to view past archives, front-page blog pagination, AJAX comment system, OpenID and Gravatar support, an interactive portfolio gallery, and a statistics page for my administration panel. Thats all I can type for now because I am starving and I think my brother is cooking something.
